1991, Angie Abraham Scholarship Run

The race was on August 25th, 1991 and it was the Angie Abraham Scholarship Run 4 miler, run out of Deering High School.  Patrick Sullivan was 2nd and I was third.  Hope that helps something (it did help me to reminisce).  Roland Thibault

MTC Barfy Party in the early years

This was the annual "Maine Track Club Mascot Party" back in the days when we head "Barfy" our Mascot.  That was quite a long time ago, before we all had arthritis and we all still had all hair.

 

Well, I guess you could say this is a photo of Joan with Hare.

 

Maybe the Hare was "Harvey"

Dennis Connelly of New Auburn, Maine once an active member of the Maine Track Club.  The photo above was taken in Aug 1987.  In 1987, he was the Chair of the MTC membership committee which made him a voting member of the MTC board of directors.  A few years ago he took some photos at the LA Bridge 5K Run in New Auburn, Maine and share them with the "Maine Running Photo Blog"

The BEU was a 10K loop around Baxter Blvd., Washington Avenue, Canco Road, Read St, Ocean Avenue, Pya St.,, and Baxter Blvd. again finishing near th Back Cove Hannaford in Portland

18 Aug 1985 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.  The race director was Charles Scribner.  These are the only photos we have ID as the Bowdoin 10 Miler  (also known as Bowdoin Out and back 10 Miler)
