He was my father. He was a racewalker in his youth and in his later years embarrassed me by entering track races in Maine and Florida as a walker and always cheerfully finishing last. He was a chiropracter in Caribou for many years, and championed such (for the time and place) wacko ideas as that walking was good exercise, that exercise and nutritional foods were important for good health, and that pesticides and herbicides were destroying the potato fields in the County. It's a nice photo of him and I thank you for posting it.
